(More customer reviews)Insanity spice is perfect on pasta, omelets, soups, rice, and even on meat dishes. It is very hot -- much hotter than crushed red pepper -- so you don't have to use nearly as much spice to get the same heat level. The ingredients panel says it is made from red savina habanero. The taste is a bit sweeter than crushed red and most other dried peppers you've probably had, and I really enjoy the way it complements my meals. I use it on practically everything. You can't go wrong with this stuff.

(More customer reviews)They replace the sodium chloride with potassium chloride, with is arguably healthier while still being salty tasting, however they replace the free form MSG with hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, which is arguably worse then MSG and certainly contains MSG. It's against government regulations to say something has NO MSG then have hydrolyzed proteins as ingredients, but if you can get by that, the stuff tastes great!

Chef Paul Prudhommes Magic Seasoning Blends has been in business since 1982 when customers from Chef Pauls New Orleans-based K-Pauls Louisiana Kitchen restaurant began asking to take home the chefs unique seasonings. What was once a garage-housed operation has grown to a 50,000 square-foot plant. (More customer reviews)I'm a popcorn freak and I've been using Johnny's Popcorn Salt for years. Every once in a while I switch back to plain salt just for variety's sake, but I always come back to my Johnny's. It enhances the flavors of the popcorn and butter - there's really no way to describe how good it is. No other popcorn salt I've tried has been this yummy.
I ordered a large supply some years ago from Johnny's website when I stopped being able to find it in stores, but now that Amazon has it in bulk for a decent price and no shipping, I'll be stocking up here. FYI, it does contain MSG, lots by the taste of it. I've never had a reaction to it and absolutely love that good old MSG savor. Try it and see!

(More customer reviews)Nacho Cheddar and White Cheddar are our favorite flavors. They are addictive, and it's hard to imagine eating popcorn without them. One problem is that they don't do well in humidity, turning into a solid mass.
That fact will make it hard to buy a six-pack from here. Unless you live in Arizona or in a permanently climate-controlled house, you do not want to keep this product too long on the shelf. If it cakes, we have found that you can open the bottom of the container, place the product in a blender and make it usable.

It's great on popcorn, baked potatoes, cheesy oven potatoes, toasted bread, fish, chicken, the list goes on... My friends tease me about it. My grocery store used to carry it, but now I buy it on Amazon. Buy some and see what you think.

(More customer reviews)This seasoning has a good ranch flavor. I tasted it right out of the container and it seemed a bit harsh, but once it was on the popcorn it tasted really good. I used about a tablespoon of seasoning for one bowl of popcorn. I think that was a little on the light side; probably 1.5 - tablespoons would have been better, but that's a matter of taste. Use less flavoring than you think you want and just add more if necessary.
My husband also used this on some potatoes and I think it would blend nicely with sour cream or yogurt for a good dip. So, it's versatile. The price seems a little steep, but a little of the seasoning goes a long way. Based on my experience with this flavor, I'm going to try some of the other Paragon seasonings.
Oh, and there's no monosodium glutamate (MSG) in the product.

Contacted the seller and received unclear answers. Ordered two of each four different seasonings because of high shipping cost. I find this seasoning too sweety so you might want to watch it out if you have weight issues. The taste is both equally mix of apple and cinnamon.

(More customer reviews)We are popcorn addicts! We eat some almost every night. The local grocery stores usually only have the Nacho Cheddar, Butter, and White Cheddar flavors. I first ordered this as part of a variety pack direct from the company, and it quickly became one of our favorites! It's a pretty strong flavor, and definitely sweet, with a touch of spice to it. It's going to be one of those flavors you either love or hate. If you haven't tried it before, try just a single to make sure you like it first.
The 6 pack boxes here at Amazon are the best deal for these.
Our other favorite flavors are the Ranch and the Nacho Cheddar. The White Cheddar is also good if you want something a bit more subtle, as it doesn't have nearly as strong of a flavor as any of the others.
The ones we don't care for are the Sour Cream (not much taste at all). The Parmesan Garlic, while good for some things, doesn't seem to work so well on the popcorn. Caramel, Chocolate Marshmallow and Kettle Corn may be OK for the kids who want something really sweet, but a bit too much for us.
